Business Q&A: Self improvement?

Self Improvement

self improvement question by xnsozh: Self improvement?
I currently go to college and work. I live in a 2 room apartment and pay $ 100 rent for it, I spend very little money for food. I work about 10 hours a week which makes for monthly expenses of about $ 180 a month. I took low hours because I know 10 a week can support my minimal lifestyle. The minimal lifestyle is just temporary for college, I’m going to college for 2 years and when I get out will expand on expenses as well as income. For the time being i’m feeling alittle too minimal, should I? What can I do for myself to feel better? There are many things like fashion, style and for me outspoken / wellspoken behavior, but is there anything else I should be conscious about?

If you don’t understand my question dont bother answering

Congratulate yourself for being so self-disciplined. You are carefully pacing yourself now, putting your education first because you know the benefits of your sacrifice will come in due time. You should feel very proud of yourself. Don’t let superficial-ism get its ugly hooks into you. You’ve determined that material things are not as important as your goals. Later, once you’ve reached your goal and have that high-paying job, you can reward yourself with fashions and whatever other “things” you desire. Good for you!

Business Q&A: Why does it seem women are on a perpetual treadmill of self improvement?

Self Improvement

self improvement question by : Why does it seem women are on a perpetual treadmill of self improvement?
I have found that most women are routinely discontent with some part of their being (physical, mental, emotional). And so feel the need to be continuously working on self improvement to the point of exhaustion. Do you notice this as well?
@Poodie,
True, but it should not be done under the disposition of discontent. One should approach self improvement with joy, not the feeling of being incomplete.

Self-Help Entrepreneurs – The Top 10 Restraints Of Your Prospects

Article by Kathy Williamson, Insightful Copywriter & Coach for Self-Help Market

If you’re a self-help entrepreneur or a life coach, it’s important to address the emotional blockages of your prospects in order to persuade them to purchase your product or service.

Today’s social media allows people to open up quicker and easier through the written word. People get to know you on a deeper level through social media interaction, and when they come to your website, they expect that interaction to continue.

One way to do this on your website is through your sales letter. By identifying with the possible emotional restraints of your prospect, you’ve got their full attention. You can also address these restraints in your blog or articles.

So, what are the top 10 emotional blockages or restraints we hear?

1. “I’m afraid to try again.” They’ve tried to change or overcome a particular problem, and have failed over and over. They’ve tried other people’s products or services and either got temporary relief and went back to their former state of mind, or they didn’t have any breakthrough. It’s easier to live in their situation rather than face the fear of trying and failing again.

2. “I am who I am, I cannot change.” They’re so frustrated because of trying to change and not being able to. They compare themselves with others and end up feeling inferior and unable to change.

3. “I can’t change right now because of my current or past situation.” Excuses have become the norm. But they don’t know they’re using excuses. Some problems have common side issues, which you need to deal with at the same time you’re addressing the main problem.

4. “I don’t believe your product or service can help ME.” Once again, a person may throw up their excuses as to why your product can’t help them. You’ll hear a hundred and one reasons why this process won’t work for them.

5. “It’s easier to stay in my rut than to take the time and effort to break free.” Although it took many years to get into their current situation, they want immediate relief. Today’s society has not been taught the benefits of enduring the time and effort it takes to change. Continue reading Business Q&A: I HAVE 3 MONTHS TO CHANGE EVERYTHING ABOUT MY SELF, HELP?

Business Q&A: How can I project my self confidence without being arrogant?

Self Help

self help question by john s: How can I project my self confidence without being arrogant?
I’d like to improve the way people view me, and I’d heard that projecting your self confidence can help greatly. Unfortunately, every time I try, when I look back on the attempt, it seems like I’m being arrogant, or just not doing something right. Anyone have any ideas on how to improve my ability to project my self confidence, or a list of positive signs of someone with self confidence?
In response to jared, that would be considered more as an arrogant thing, in the sense that you aren’t respecting the girl at all.
